Club

Roberto Gliga began his career as an ice hockey player with Steaua Bucharest in his native city, for whom he played in the Romanian ice hockey league as a teenager and in the multinational MOL league in the 2008/09 season . At the age of 17 he moved to Sweden, where he was on the ice for the Tingsryds AIF in various youth teams up to the J20 SuperElit , the highest junior class in the Scandinavian country. Occasionally he was also used in the men's team in the HockeyAllsvenskan . In 2013 he returned to Romania and switched to the reigning cup winner ASC Corona 2010 Brașov . With his new club he was Romanian champion straight away , in the MOL league he finished second with Brașov after the final series against HK Nové Zámky from Slovakia was lost 2: 4. He then moved to France, where he initially worked for the Hockey Club de Caen in Ligue Magnus , but had to accept relegation to Division 1 in 2015 after losing the relegation to the Lyon Hockey Club with four defeats. 2016 returned to the ASC Corona 2010 Brașov, with which he was again Romanian champion in 2017.

Gliga was already active in the junior division for Romania at world championships.
