history

The Bosnian-Herzegovinian Ice Hockey Federation has been a member of the World Ice Hockey Federation IIHF since May 10, 2001 . Its president is Haris Muhić. According to the IIHF, a total of 260 ice hockey players are eligible to play in Bosnia-Herzegovina . 80 of them are men and 180 are juniors. An ice hockey rink and three hockey rink without roofing are available for hosting ice hockey league games of the Bosnian-Hezgowinian ice hockey league . The league games are directed by seven ice hockey referees.

In the qualifying tournament for Division III of the World Cup in Sarajevo , the team lost the two games against Greece with 1:10 and against Armenia with 1:18. Due to the later disqualification of Armenia and the evaluation of the game with 5: 0 for Bosnia-Herzegovina, they moved up to place 2 of the tournament and thus to place 47 in the IIHF world rankings .
