Adolf von Thielmann

Adolf Freiherr von Thielmann (born June 25, 1879 in Jakobsdorf , Upper Silesia , † May 12, 1948 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator .

Life

During his studies, Baron von Thielmann became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg in 1900 . In 1904 he worked as a court trainee. From 1906 he worked as a government trainee and unskilled worker for the district administrator in Breslau . From 1914 to 1916 he was drafted into military service. In 1916 he was again employed as a consultant in the Reichsfettstelle, and in 1917 he was appointed to the government council. From 1918/19 he then worked as a district administrator in the Frankenstein district in the province of Silesia .

On October 1, Freiherr von Thielmann was appointed district administrator in the district of Guhrau , Province of Silesia . There he served as district administrator until 1933, when he was immediately sent to the R. following the takeover of power by the NSDAP on June 7, 1933.

Freiherr von Thielmann was a legal knight of the Order of St. John .
