The Philippines national ice hockey team represents the Philippines in ice hockey at international competitions.

history

The first official matches of the Philippine national team took place in 2014. The Federation of Ice Hockey League (FIHL) was founded in February 2015 and has been organizing the team ever since. The FIHL has been an associated member of the International Ice Hockey Federation since May 2016 .

In February 2017, the Philippines took part in an international competition for the first time: At the Winter Asian Games , the team took 3rd place in Division II and was 13th of 18 participating teams. In August 2017, the team took part in the first ever ice hockey tournament at the Southeast Asian Games and was able to win the competition. In 2018, the Philippines took part in the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia for the first time and came third.

The Philippines will start in the World Cup for the first time in 2021 .
