Michael Oreskes

Michael Oreskes (born May 26, 1954 in New York City ) is an American journalist . He worked long hours for the New York Times and was Vice President and Program Director of the US public network National Public Radio (NPR).

Life

Michael Oreskes received a bachelor's degree from City College in New York in 1975 . He then worked as a journalist for various US media, was deputy editor-in-chief of the New York Times and from 2005 worked as editor-in-chief of the International Herald Tribune SAS for the New York Times Company. He served as the liaison between the editorial offices of the New York Times and the International Herald Tribune. From September 2008 he was Managing Editor for US News at the press agency The Associated Press . He then became Vice President and Program Director of NPR.

In 2017 it became known that he should have kissed two subordinate colleagues against their will. as a result, he resigned from his position at NPR in November 2017.
