The Ice Hockey Team of the Basque Country is a selection of Basque players from the Basque Association Negu Kiroletako Euskal Federakuntza to the autonomous community to represent are determined at international level.
history
The Basque Country have faced the Catalan selection in two games , with the visiting team winning each time. Both the Basque Country and Catalonia have their own national associations, but these are subordinate to the Federación Española de Deportes de Hielo , which sets up a joint national team for Spain with the Spanish national team .
The Basque squad includes Aaron Carretero , a Spanish national player.
