The national ice hockey team of Argentina is a selection of Argentine players appointed by the Asociación Argentina de Hockey sobre Hielo y en Línea to represent the country on an international level.

history

A delegation from the Asociación Argentina de Hockey sobre Hielo y en Línea , which had mainly focused on inline hockey since its inception , attended a training camp in Mexico from February 7 to 21, 2012. In addition to a test match against a club team, they played five test matches against Mexican national teams. First, Argentina defeated the club Aztecas 7: 6. They won 4-2 and 3-0 against the Mexican U18 national team before losing the third game 2-0. In his first two international matches against the internationally established men's national team of Mexico, Argentina clearly lost with 1: 5 and 1:10.

In March 2014 Argentina took part in the first ever Pan-American ice hockey tournament. In the course of the tournament, Argentina achieved their first international win in a 5-3 win over Brazil . Argentina finally finished fourth after a 1: 9 in the game for third place against Colombia .
