Aaron Carretero (born July 12, 1988 in Vitoria-Gasteiz ) is a Spanish ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with FC Barcelona in the Spanish Super League since 2010 .

Career

Aaron Carretero began his career as a ice hockey player with CH Gasteiz , for whom he made his debut in the Spanish Super League in the 2004/05 season . Since the club temporarily stopped playing in the senior sector, the goalkeeper switched to his league rivals CH Txuri Urdin the following year , for whom he was active for the following five years. For the 2010/11 season, the international signed a contract with FC Barcelona .

International

For Spain , Carretero took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in Division II in 2004 and 2005 and the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2005 , 2006 , 2007 and 2008 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division II in 2007 , 2008 and 2014 and played three games in qualifying for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver .
