The 31st ice hockey world championships of the U20 juniors of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF were the ice hockey world championships of 2007 for the under-20s age group. Between December 10, 2006 and January 14, 2007, a total of 40 national teams took part in the six tournaments of the top division and divisions I to III.

For the 13th time, the world champion was the Canadian team , which defeated arch-rivals Russia 4-2 in the final . The German team was again unable to maintain their class after being promoted last year and was relegated to Division I, while Switzerland took seventh place in the top division. Austria finished second in Group B of Division I and thus missed promotion to the top division.
