Junior Ice Hockey World Championship 1991

The games of the 15th Junior A World Championship in 1991 were held from December 26, 1990 to January 4, 1991 in Saskatchewan , Canada . The B group was played in Tychy and Oświęcim , Poland , and the C group in Belgrade , Yugoslavia .

The tournaments took place this year at the following locations and dates:

Junior A World Championship: December 26, 1990 to January 4, 1991 in Saskatoon a . a. ( Canada )
Junior B World Championship: December 27, 1990 to January 5, 1991 in Tychy , Oświęcim ( Poland )
Junior C World Championship: December 27, 1990 to January 5, 1991 in Belgrade ( Yugoslavia )

A total of 24 teams took part, Canada became Junior World Champion for the fifth time.

A world championship

The world championship took place in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . The Canadian team became junior world champions . The team from Norway was relegated and replaced by promoted Germany .

mode

Players under 20 years of age (U-20) were allowed. Eight teams took part, each of whom competed once against each group opponent in a joint group. World champion became the group winner. The last was relegated to the B World Championship.
