The 17th ice hockey world championships of the U18 juniors of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF were the ice hockey world championships of 2015 in the age group of under eighteen year olds (U18). Between March 15 and April 26, 2015, a total of 43 national teams took part in the seven tournaments of the top division and divisions I to III.

The world champion was for the ninth time the US team, who defeated Finland 2-1 after extra time in the final and thus defended their title. It was the sixth title win by the Americans in the past seven years and the eighth in a row by a North American nation. Third place went to the Canadian selection. The German team lost to the Latvian team in the relegation round and had to move to Group A of Division I by finishing tenth overall. The Swiss team finished the tournament in fourth place and narrowly missed the first medal win since the 2001 World Cup . Austria reached first place in group B of division I and thus rose to group A.
