Bernd Wolf (born February 23, 1997 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Lugano in the National League since 2020 .

career

Wolf grew up in Vienna and played with the EAC Junior Capitals , the youth club of the Vienna Capitals , until 2011 . In 2011 he switched to the SC Bern youth movement .

In September 2016 Wolf was given a B license for SC Langenthal from the National League B (NLB) and won the NLB championship title with Oberaargau in spring 2017, but missed the NLA in the league qualification against HC Ambrì-Piotta Ascent. For the 2017/18 season he returned to Bern and received a B license for assignments with the second division club EHC Visp .

In May 2018 Wolf was signed by the EC VSV from the Austrian Ice Hockey League , where he played until the end of the 2019/20 season and scored 6 goals and 13 assists in 85 games. He then announced his move to HC Lugano .

National team

At the end of October 2016, Wolf was appointed to the Austrian senior national team for the first time and was part of the national team in the years that followed.
