Fatih Faner (born March 12, 1997 in Erzurum ) is a Turkish ice hockey player who has been under contract with İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK in the Turkish Super League since 2014 .

Career

Fatih Faner began his career as an ice hockey player at Erzurum Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK , for whom he made his debut in the Turkish Super League in the 2012/13 season at the age of 15 . In 2014 he switched to the reigning champions İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK , for whom he has played since then.

International

For Turkey, Faner took part in the junior division III in the U18 World Championships in 2013 , when he was named the best player of his team, in 2014 and 2015 , when he was voted the best defender of the tournament, and the U20 World Championships in 2013 , 2014 and 2015 .

The defender played for the men's national team for the first time at the 2014 World Cup , when the Turks were relegated from Division II to Division III. In 2015 he played in Division III.
