Junior Ice Hockey World Championship 1990

The games of the 14th Junior A World Championship in 1990 took place in Finland from December 26, 1989 to January 4, 1990 . The B group was played in Bad Tölz and Geretsried , Germany , and the C group in Eindhoven , Netherlands .

A world championship

The world championship took place in Finland . The Canadian team became junior world champions . The team from Poland was relegated and replaced by promoted Switzerland .

mode

Players under 20 years of age (U-20) were allowed. Eight teams took part, each of which competed once against each group opponent in a common group. World champion became the group winner. The last was relegated to the B World Championship.
