Etienne Froidevaux (born March 20, 1989 in Biel ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with Lausanne HC in the National League A since 2013 .
Career
Etienne Froidevaux began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of SC Bern . In the 2005/06 season he ran for the first time in the senior division when he ran up in two games for the EHC Red-Blue Bern-Bümpliz from the third-class first division . In the 2006/07 season, the Center was parallel to his time with the elite juniors of SC Bern to his debut in professional hockey for SC Langenthal from the National League B . From 2007 to 2009 he played for the professional team of SC Bern in the National League A as well as for the Young Sprinters Hockey Club and the Swiss U20 national ice hockey team in the National League B. In the 2009/10 season he won the national championship title with SC Bern . He himself contributed to this success with 23 points scorer, including seven goals, in a total of 51 games. In the 2011/12 season he reached the championship finals again with SC Bern, but lost to the ZSC Lions in this with his team .
For the 2012/13 season Froidevaux was signed by the NLA participant SCL Tigers . After the Tigers relegated to the NLB this season , he signed a two-year contract with the newly promoted Lausanne HC .
International
For Switzerland , Froidevaux took part in the U18 Junior World Championship 2007 , the U20 Junior World Championship 2007 and 2008 and the U20 Junior World Championship in Division I 2009 .
