Yannick Herren (born February 7, 1991 in Mühleberg ) is a Swiss ice hockey player . The 1.82-meter-tall attacking player has been active for Lausanne HC in the National League A since 2014 .

Player career

The Saas-Grunder moved as a youth from his home country to EHC Visp in the National League B and made his debut in the second highest Swiss division during the 2007/08 season. 2,010 men accepted an offer of Kloten Flyers and took ergo it into the National League A . After four years he left Kloten and signed a contract with NLA competitor Lausanne HC .

National team

Herren was a junior national player and played with the Swiss U20 team at the 2011 U20 World Cup in the top division. He was appointed to the senior national team for the first time in 2016 for the Deutschland Cup .

Private

Yannick Herren is the son of former ski racer and three-time Olympian Bernadette Zurbriggen .
