René Kramer (born October 24, 1987 in Berlin ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen in the DEL2 since May 2015 .

Career

Kramer started his career at Eisbären Berlin , where he worked in large parts of the youth department. In the 2004/05 season he was called up for the first time in the professional squad of the polar bears, but still played predominantly for the junior team Eisbären Juniors Berlin in the major league . In his first season in the DEL, the then 18-year-old made three appearances. In 2007 Kramer was given a sponsorship license and then played in the 2nd Bundesliga for the Kassel Huskies on demand. In the 26 games that he played, the native of Berlin scored 15 points and thus made a significant contribution to the rise. However, he could not play the decisive game because he was injured a few days earlier in the playoff final game in the DEL in the Eisbären Berlin team. He was still there to celebrate the DEL / ESBG double championship . For the 2008/09 season René Kramer was back in the Eisbären Berlin squad.

For the 2009/10 season , Kramer signed an annual contract with the Kassel Huskies . In November 2009 he was given a license to support the Dresdner Eislöwen in order to collect game practice.

After the bankruptcy of the Kassel Huskies, Kramer remained without a club for a long time until Munich defender Daniel Hilpert was injured. The EHC Munich reacted and signed Kramer.

For the 2011/2012 season he was signed by the DEG Metro Stars . After a year in Düsseldorf, Kramer moved to league rivals Straubing Tigers . He initially received a one-year contract there, which was extended by one year in April 2013 and March 2014.

In May 2015, Kramer was signed by the Dresdner Eislöwen from the DEL2.

International

Kramer played his first tournament for a selection team of the DEB in 2005 at the Junior World Championship . There he was able to score one goal in six games. A year later he was nominated again for the junior national team , with which he took part in the Junior World Cup in Slovenia in 2006 and helped to achieve the goal of promotion to the A group.
