Florian Proske (born June 22, 1996 in Bad Muskau ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen in the DEL2 since May 2019 .
Career
Florian Proske was active in the youngsters of ES Weißwasser , switched to the young eagles in Mannheim during the 2010/2011 season and won the German pupil and DNL championships twice with his team in the following years. In the DEL2 , Proske first came to work for the Adler's then partner team, the Heilbronner Falken , in 2014/15 , after he had signed his first professional contract with the Adler in June 2014. In August 2015, he received a two-year contract extension. In the 2015/16 season the Kassel Huskies were partner team of the Adler, for which Proske completed six DEL2 games and at the end of the season won the championship of the second German ice hockey league with the Huskies.
In July 2016, Proske was handed over by the Adler management to the Löwen Frankfurt with a funding license in order to collect match practice in the DEL2. With the Lions he won his second DEL2 championship in April 2017.
On November 21, 2017, he replaced Chet Pickard in the Adler's goal in the third third of the DEL game against EHC Red Bull Munich , making his debut in the top German division . In May 2017, Proske received another contract extension for a year and another license for the Löwen Frankfurt.
In July 2018 Proske left the Adler and was signed by the Nürnberg Ice Tigers for one year. In September 2018 Proske received a production license for the EC Bad Nauheim , as regular goalkeeper Jonathan Boutin had failed, but remained without a commitment for the ECBN. A month later he was loaned out again to the Bietigheim Steelers with a production license , for which he played a total of four DEL2 games.
Florian Proske has been under contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen since May 2019 .
International
With his move to the offspring of the Mannheim ERC and Adler Mannheim, Proske moved into the focus of the national coaches and was nominated for the U16 national team at an early stage. With the U18 national team, he took part in the 2013 and 2015 World Cups , with the former playing no role and the latter playing five games.
He then played in the Under-19 national team, before the U-20 National Team at the Ice Hockey World Championship U20 juniors in 2015 participated. In this tournament he was without a job, the national team took last place and was relegated to Division I.
