Play-off
mode
The eight winners play in three rounds and in best-of-seven mode.
If the game ends with a draw after the regular playing time of 3 × 20 minutes, there is an extension of 20 minutes with four against four field players, but only until a goal is scored. The team that scores the goal is the winner with the corresponding result. If no goal is scored in extra time, a penalty shoot-out takes place immediately and without changing sides, with the exception of the last game of a play-off series, which is extended by 20 minutes until a goal is scored. In all games, the ice surface is "peeled dry" before the start of the penalty shootout.
Play-off tree
In the semifinals, the remaining best of the main round competes against the remaining worst placed in the main round and the remaining second best against the remaining second worst of the main round.
