The National Training Center for hockey and curling is a complex with three ice rinks in the German feet . The first two halls - today's Halls I with a capacity of 1,354 seats and II - were completed in 1973. The new arena, which can accommodate 3,691 spectators, followed in 1990. The federal performance center is the home ground of EV Füssen . In addition to ice hockey and curling , figure skating and ice stock sport are also practiced in the federal performance center.
Since the arena was completed in 1990, the federal performance center has hosted ice hockey world championships in the junior classes several times . Together with Kaufbeuren were World Junior Championship in 1992 and the World Cup Under-18 Junior 1999 held. As the sole World Cup site, the National Training Center in functioned World Cup Under-18 juniors in 2009 , the world championship of Division I of the U18 juniors in 2014 and the A-group of Division I of the Under-20 World Youth Championship 2019 . The complex also hosted the 1997 and 2007 European Curling Championships .
