Alexander Jurjewitsch Loginow ( Russian Александр Юрьевич Логинов ; born February 18, 1987 in Ufa , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in the Continental Hockey League since May 2020 .

Career

Alexander Loginow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Salawat Yulayev Ufa , for whose professional team he was active in the Russian Super League from 2005 to 2008 . At the same time he played from 2003 to 2008 for the second team in the third-class Perwaja League . The defender spent the 2008/09 season in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. The following season he moved to HC Energie Karlovy Vary from the Czech extra league .

After Loginow had stood on the ice with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Continental Hockey League in the 2010/11 season , he moved to Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg for the following season within the KHL . In May 2012 he received a two-year contract with Amur Khabarovsk , which was extended for another year in May 2013. He completed 115 KHL games for Amur until November 2014 before returning to Awtomobilist.

In September 2015 he was exchanged for Yegor Dubrowski from Salawat Julajew Ufa and thus returned to his hometown club. Between 2018 and 2020 he played for HK Sibir Novosibirsk and acted there as team captain in his second season. Before the 2020/21 season, he moved to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk .

International

For Russia Loginow took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 2007 , where he won the silver medal with his team.
