Libor Hudáček (born September 7, 1990 in Levoča , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk from the Continental Hockey League (KHL) since May 2020 and plays there in the position of the center . His brother Július Hudáček is also a hockey player.

Career

Libor Hudáček began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the HK Spišská Nová Ves , for whose professional team he made his debut in the first division , the second Slovak division, in the 2008/09 season . For the 2009/10 season the center moved to the capital club HC Slovan Bratislava from the Extraliga . At the same time, however, it was also used for the HK Orange 20 in its first year in Bratislava . Under this name, the Slovak U20 national team took part in the Extraliga game. In the 2011/12 season , the right- shooter was Slovak champion with Slovan Bratislava.

He then moved with the team to the Continental Hockey League , where he was active until November 2014, before he was loaned to HC 05 Banská Bystrica until the end of the season. For the 2015/16 season , the Slovak moved to Sweden for Örebro HK , where he was active for three seasons with the exception of a brief loan to Färjestad BK . After playing for the Czech club Bílí Tygři Liberec between 2018 and 2020 , he moved to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in the KHL for the 2020/21 season .

International

For Slovakia , Hudáček took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championship in 2008 and the U20 World Junior Championship in 2010 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad for the first time at the 2012 World Cup .
