Stepan Alexandrowitsch Sachartschuk ( Russian Степан Александрович Захарчук ; born November 30, 1986 in Amderma , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in the Continental Hockey League since May 2019 .

Career

Stepan Sachartschuk began his career as an ice hockey player at ZSK WWS Samara , for which he was active from 2004 to 2008 in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. He had previously played for Samara's second team in the third-rate Perwaja League . Towards the end of the 2007/08 season, the defender moved to the second team of the HK Lada Tolyatti in the Pervaya League, for whose professional team he scored five goals and three assists in the newly founded Continental Hockey League in the 2008/09 season in a total of 53 games gave. After he had started the following season at Lada Tolyatti, he was signed in November 2009 by Ak Bars Kazan , with whom he won the Gagarin Cup at the end of the season.
