Vladimir Sergejewitsch Galusin ( Russian Владимир Сергеевич Галузин ; born August 6, 1988 in Gorky , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk from the Continental Hockey League since July 2020 .
Career
Vladimir Galusin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior division of Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod , for whose second team he was initially active in the third-rate Pervaya League in the 2005/06 season . There he scored 20 points in 64 games, including twelve goals, whereupon he made his debut for Torpedo's professional team in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division, in the 2006/07 season and immediately rose with his team as the second division champion in the super league. In this he scored a goal in 16 games in the 2007/08 season .
Galusin has been on the ice for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the newly founded Continental Hockey League since the 2008/09 season . In the 2009/10 season he played parallel for the junior team of his club in the first-ever multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . In the 2010/11 season he was mainly used for HK Sarov in the new second division, the Wysschaja Hockey League , and scored 23 scorer points in 41 games, including seven goals.
In the following years he was part of the team of Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod without interruption. In May 2019 he and two other torpedo players were signed by HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , but left the club in December 2019 and was signed by Ak Bars Kazan . Half a year later, Galusin was signed by Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk .
