The HK Sarow ( Russian ХК Саров ) is a Russian ice hockey club from Sarov founded in 2002 . The first team played in the Vysschaya Hockey League until 2019 and played their home games in the Sarov Ice Palace. The club colors are blue, white and red.
history
The club was founded in 2002. From 2003 to 2009 the HK Sarov took part in the game operation of the third-class Perwaja Liga . For the 2009/10 season he was included in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. For the 2010/11 season, the team was finally included in their successor league Wysschaja Hockey League .
HK Sarow acted as the farm team of the KHL participant Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod until 2019 . HK Sarow has exclusively been operating youth ice hockey since 2019.
