Amur Khabarovsk ( Russian Амур Хабаровск ) is an ice hockey club in the city of Khabarovsk founded in 1966 under the name SKA Khabarovsk . The team plays in the Continental Hockey League and plays its home games in the 7,100-seat Platinum Arena . The club colors are yellow, blue and white.
history
The club was founded in 1966 as SKA Khabarovsk before the current club name and logo were re-elected in 1997. As SKA Chabarowsk, the team became champions of the then third division in 1989 and made it to the second highest Soviet league via a relegation round . 1996 and 2006 - after the temporary relegation - the promotion to the super league succeeded .
Since the 2008/09 season , the team has been playing in the newly established Continental Hockey League .
