From the 2009/10 season he played for the junior team Stalnye Lissy Magnitogorsk in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga and won the Kharlamov Cup with his team straight away . The 2010/11 season he also began with Stalnyje Lissy Magnitogorsk in the MHL, but ended it at its league rivals SKA-1946 Saint Petersburg. For the 2011/12 season , the defender returned to his hometown and played mostly for Stalnyje Lissy in the MHL. At the same time, however, he made his debut for the professional team of HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Continental Hockey League .
For the 2012/13 season Tereschchenko was committed by the Ukrainian KHL newcomer HK Donbass Donetsk , where he was a regular player straight away. A year later he returned to his hometown club and won the KHL championship trophy , the Gagarin Cup , with Metallurg in 2014 . In 2016 he won the Gagarin Cup again with Metallurg. In 2018 he did not get a new contract with his hometown club and moved to Salawat Julajew Ufa in May 2018 , where he was unable to assert himself.
