In the 2003/04 season Guljawzew played for his hometown club Molot-Prikamje Perm, which in the meantime had been relegated to the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. Although he rose with his team as a second division champion in the super league, but he joined Severstal Tscherepowez , for which he competed in the super league in the following three years. From 2007 to 2009, the former junior international took part in the Vysschaya League with Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg . Subsequently, the club was included in the Continental Hockey League , founded a year earlier , in which Gulyawzew went hunting for goals for Awtomobilist from the 2009/10 season , while he was also team captain.
