location

Pinnebergerdorf borders in the northwest on Prisdorf , in the north on Kummerfeld , in the northeast on Borstel-Hohenraden and on the city center of Pinneberger.

history

Pinnebergerdorf was an old farming village. The first documentary mention was made in 1360, but there are archaeological finds from the Roman imperial era, i.e. around the 2nd century. From the early 18th century until it was incorporated into Pinneberg in 1905, Pinnebergerdorf was an independent municipality. For a long time a pure farming village, it grew rapidly at the end of the 19th century due to the influx of industrial workers who worked in Pinneberg. This then led to the incorporation into Pinneberg.

Transport and infrastructure

The district is located on the state roads to Elmshorn (Elmshorner Straße) and Tornesch (Prisdorfer Straße) and is connected to the federal motorway 23 via the Pinneberg-Nord junction .

The district is accessed by the HVV bus routes 185 and 594.

In the district there is a primary school (Hans-Clausen-Schule) and a regional school, which emerged from the merger of a secondary school (Karl-Sörensen-Schule) located in downtown Pinneberg with a primary and secondary school (Georg-Kerschensteiner-Schule) .

There are commercial areas in the north-west (on the border with Prisdorf) and in the north-east (on the motorway) of the district.
