Florian Ondruschka (born June 24, 1987 in Selb ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the VER Selb in the ice hockey league since 2016 .

Career

The 1.85 m tall defender began his career at ERC Selb in the Oberliga before moving to EV Weiden in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey league before the season started . The left-handed shooter completed his first DEL appearances for the Ice Tigers in the 2005/06 season , but mostly he was on the ice for the Blue Devils Weiden in the major league. In the 2006/07 season Ondruschka belonged to the regular squad of the Ice Tigers, who celebrated the runner-up in the play-offs .

In January 2010 Ondruschka was signed by the Straubing Tigers from the DEL for the 2010/11 season. His contract was extended in February 2011 by one year to 2012, in February 2012 the contract was extended for another two years until the end of the 2013/14 season. After a total of six seasons with the Niederbayern, the collaboration was ended.

On May 25, 2016 it was announced that Ondruschka will move back to his homeland in Selb.

International

For the German junior national teams , Florian Ondruschka played the U18 World Championships in 2004 and 2005 and the U20 World Cup in 2006 and 2007 . He was also appointed to the German squad at short notice for the 2012 World Cup in Sweden .
