Reviews
Rita Kempley wrote in the Washington Post on February 9, 1990 that Jane Fonda appears to enjoy playing workers. In this role she doesn't seem as credible as Robert De Niro as a chef.
“Except for the all too clichéd optimistic ending, a beautifully told love story about helping people to help themselves, which briefly but precisely also sheds light on social realities. Excellent staged and brilliantly cast in the leading roles. "
