House of Anubis is a British mystery series produced for England and the United States . It is the English version of the Dutch-language television series Het Huis Anubis . Between 2011 and 2013, a total of 190 episodes were created in three seasons. The series ended with the 191st episode, the feature film The Touchstone of Ra , on June 17, 2013.

When the American Nina Martin comes to the House of Anubis, the popular student Joy Mercer disappears without a trace. Joy's best friend Patricia Williamson believes that Nina had something to do with the disappearance. Together with her friends Fabian Rutter and Amber Millington, Nina searches for the truth about Joy's disappearance.

In March 2010, Studio 100 announced that the series had been sold to the United States . Filming for the first season began in Liverpool in the summer of 2010 . The series was not shot in the Dutch Studio 100 like the original, but in England, as the props for the German-language version Das Haus Anubis were needed. That is why the house and the rooms are divided up differently.

A second season was announced on June 29, 2011 and has been filmed in Liverpool since July 21, 2011. It was also Burkely Duffield for the role of Eddie cast and will reinforce the main occupation.

In mid-April 2012 Nathalia Ramos announced on Twitter that she would not return to her role if there is a third season. On April 16, the series was extended for a third season. On July 16, 2012, Bobby Lockwood announced on Twitter that he will not be returning to the series for season three, given that he got a lead role on the CBBC series Wolfblood . On the same day, it was announced that Alexandra Shipp had received a leading role in the third season. Filming for the season began on July 23, 2012 in Liverpool. On July 26, 2012 it was announced that Louisa Connolly-Burnham will play the new student Willow .
