Susy Kane
Susanna "Susy" Kane (born August 27, 1978 in Dorking , Surrey ) is a British actress , screenwriter and musician .
life and career
Kane is the daughter of opera singer Alison Warner and actor and writer John Kane and the younger sister of actor Simon Kane . She grew up in Wandsworth , a borough of London , and won a scholarship to Westminster School in sixth grade . She studied Chinese, Art and Film at the University of Edinburgh .
She started singing in jazz clubs at the age of sixteen. She played gypsy violin in 2005 released album Tissues and Issues of Charlotte Church .
She had her first television role in 1999 in the BBC One children's comedy series Barmy Aunt Boomerang . This was followed by roles in English series such as G Force , The Thick of It , Misfits and Starlings . Since 2013 she has played the role of Miss Denby in the British mystery series House of Anubis .
She worked as a writer, actress and director on comedy skits for the Funny or Die website and wrote skits for radio and television programs such as Harry and Paul and The Wrong Door . She lives in London.
