The Secret of the Hunters (originally: Hunter Street ) is a Dutch adventure and youth series by Blooming Media from 2017, which was produced for Nickelodeon . The series is an offshoot of the Dutch series De Ludwigs .

season 1
Five foster children from Amsterdam try to find out what happened to their foster parents who have disappeared. Max is the youngest addition to the Hunter foster family. After spending the first night in his new home, foster parents Erik and Kate disappeared without a trace. Together with his new siblings Tess, Anika, Sal and Daniel, he goes looking for clues as to where they might be. Their search for clues leads the five siblings on an exciting family adventure, including boat races through canals and the exploration of secret tunnels, where they come across hidden treasures. In addition, they will have to dodge some obstacles and battle old family rivals to solve the mystery.
season 2
The Hunter kids get a new brother: Jake, who is very good at drawing. Then a package will be delivered to you. When they open it, they find a cryptex, but Erik secretly lets it disappear before they can find out what's inside. The police accuse Erik of stealing art. Meanwhile, Max's biological parents get in touch with him and he leaves for Spain . After that, things get even more mysterious when Erik brings a young girl named Evie home and adopts her so that she is now officially a Hunter. She owns a necklace that has the same crown symbol that they found in the cryptex. Erik explains to her that he has a special connection to Evie. Meanwhile, the PC of every Hunter is hacked, and Evie's ex-stepmother Lucia reports to the Hunters because she wants to bring her ex-stepdaughter back, but Erik prevents this. The Hunters family adventure continues, and they discover secret rooms in the house, find out Evie's secret, look for a mole among relatives, deal with a hacker and work with their new friend Jenny, all to help her father Erik get out of the false and grave accusations and identify the real culprit.
season 3
Max is still with his birth parents, Tess volunteers in Zambia and Daniel is busy with his work. The rest of the hunters are on vacation in a house in the woods. Mysterious events take place there, for example strange noises and a thief who stole the small Mesoamerican pyramid that Anika got from an anonymous person on her birthday. There was a misunderstanding with Dottie, the house owner. During their search for anonymous, the Hunter children get to know Jasmyn and Oliver, who help them. Sal and Jake search for evidence and discover that Oliver could be Anika's twin brother. They then search for their parents and try to solve the mystery with Sal and Jasmyn and find the treasure before a solar eclipse appears.
Characters
- Max (own Maximilian) is a cool guy who likes to do something. He had spent most of his childhood in nursing homes, which had often given him away for these reasons. Since the Hunters took him in, he has been helping to solve the family's secret.
- Tess (actually Jessica) loves to solve puzzles and always brings the group closer to the truth. She likes to read and is rather calm.
- Daniel is the oldest and knows he has to protect his siblings. He is in love with the policewoman Simone, which makes him a police officer in season 2 and is investigating the case where Erik was falsely accused of an art theft.
- Sal (own Salvatore) Sal's specialty is technology and science. With his help, the siblings always find a new lead.
- Anika is always the first to know that something is wrong. In season 1, she is the youngest of the family, so she was adopted first. In season 3, she tries to find out who her birth family is.
- Sophie is the daughter of the antagonist Saganash. At first she helps her father, but after seeing how nice the Hunters are, she helps them. All but Max trust her, but he later trusts her too and she is accepted into the family.
- Evie has been in the Hunter family since Season 2 and is the youngest member. She has a big secret in season 2 that has to do with Erik.
- Jake is mostly interested in comics. With his own cartoon character "Electro Dude" he has often taken his siblings one step further. He was inducted into the family in Season 2.
- Erik is a member of the relatives and foster father of the Hunter children Max, Sal, Tess, Daniel, Jake, Anika and Evie. He's from England .
- Kate is the foster mother of the Hunter children. She is very nice and is kidnapped by Saganash with Erik in season 1.
- Oliver lives in a house in the woods with his mother Dottie. It first appeared in season 3 when the Hunter family mistakenly walked into their home. He has a family relationship with Anika and is said to be her twin brother.
- Jasmyn is a friend of Oliver. She is the daughter of the forester Lyman and helps the Hunters find the treasure in season 3.
- Simone is a policewoman that Daniel keeps an eye on. She often comes across as suspicious when it comes to something.
- Tim is from the orphan agency and brought Max to some nursing homes, including the Hunters.
- The relatives consist of Erik, Rinus, Diane, Bernard, Martin and initially Gertrude. They are related to the family.
