De Ludwigs is a Dutch Nickelodeon series that premiered on May 9, 2016. The series is aimed at children aged 6 to 12.
Charisma In Belgium and the Netherlands, the series was broadcast from Monday to Thursday at 7:20 p.m., and since 2018 from Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. The first season consisted of forty episodes, the first twenty were broadcast from May 9th to June 9th, 2016 and the remaining episodes from September 19th to October 20th, 2016. The second season consisted of 28 episodes, season three had again 40 episodes that were shown in two parts. From April 10th to April 20th 2017 there was the special Who is the Thief? in 8 episodes. On October 28, 2019, the fourth and final season of the series called The End of the World began . The offshoot of the series is called Hunter Street (German: The Secret of the Hunters ).
action Benny has visited many foster families, but this time he goes to the Ludwig family. The Ludwigs live in a canal house in Amsterdam. The foster parents Erik and Kate have suddenly mysteriously disappeared. The five foster children Benny, Sam, Yara, Anoosha and Daniel have to find out what happened to their foster parents. After many searches of the house and Amsterdam, they learned a lot about families and enemies and still have many adventures.

Trivia
The interior shots were recorded in the Aalsmeer Studio. The exterior shots were taken in Amsterdam and in the canal house De Dolphijn at Ringgraben 140-142. The canal house De Dolphijn serves as the backdrop for the Ludwigshaus in the series.
The Cygnus Gymnasium in Amsterdam East served as the setting for De Ludwigs' school.
The story of the second season takes place in Aunt Janine's villa in the forest in Belgium. In reality, Landgoed Noordenhoek is used as the backdrop for the series, and Aunt Janine's villa in the Netherlands in the Gelderland province is near Deil.
The Muiderschloß in Muiden served as the backdrop for the relatives' castle.
