Tooske Ragas
Grietje Antonia "Tooske" Ragas-Breugem (* 3. June 1974 in Zwolle , Netherlands as grietje Antonia Breugem ) is a Dutch presenter , pop singer and model . As a model, she was active in several cities at the beginning of her career.
Life
Tooske Ragas studied English literature at the University of Utrecht and graduated in 1998. She then worked for the Dutch music channel TMF , then in New York for MTV Europe. In 2002 she hosted the first two seasons of Idols , the Dutch edition of Pop Idol , and also read the voting results of the Dutch telephone poll in the search for superstar worldwide in front of more than 100 million viewers around the world.
From 2002 to 2003 she was married to the American actor Keith Davis .
In the Rotterdam world premiere of the musical The Three Musketeers of the Bolland Brothers , she played Constance, the queen of hearts of the hero D'Artagnan, played and sung by Bastiaan Ragas . Ragas, who used to be a member of the boy band Caught in the Act , and Tooske Breugem also got closer in private. Together they recorded the song Alles , which landed at the top of the charts in the Netherlands. They were married on June 25, 2005 and Tooske took his last name.
From September 2005 to May 2007 she hosted the third and fourth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar on RTL together with Marco Schreyl with a short interruption . Initially attacked by the Bild newspaper as "cheese chick", she exchanged letters with the newspaper about German-Dutch clichés .
In June 2005 she married Caught in the Act singer Bastiaan Ragas . On February 13, 2007, she gave birth to her first child, a daughter, in Amsterdam. On April 7, 2007, she returned from maternity leave and since then has acted again as the moderator for Deutschland sucht den Superstar . However, she no longer moderated the fifth season. Their second daughter was born on May 28, 2008. On April 7, 2010 the third daughter was born.
Ragas is involved in the Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk ( Reformed Church ).
In the last film May 6th by Dutch director Theo van Gogh , Tooske Ragas played a stewardess.
2013 she was in the RTL telecast boys against girls to see which of Joachim Llambi and Mirja Boes is moderated.
Since 2017 she has played in the US youth series The Secret of the Hunters on the children's channel Nickelodeon .
