Marvin Marvin is an American youth - sitcom that from everyday life of the alien boy told Marvin. The series was developed by Jon Ross and Jeff Bushell. The first episode aired on November 24, 2012 on Nickelodeon TV after the final of iCarly , Ciao Carly . The series finale was shown on April 27, 2013. The German-language first broadcast took place from March 24 to September 20, 2013 on Nickelodeon .

When Marvin's home planet is attacked by aliens, his parents send him to Earth. There he is taken in by Bob and Liz Forman and their children Teri and Henry. From now on, Marvin has to get involved in his new environment and must not give up his human camouflage so that he does not endanger himself and his family. But Marvin quickly realizes that human life is not that simple and can be very turbulent.

In the course of the series, Teri's friend Brianna discovers Marvin's secret and promises him to keep it a secret. In the series finale, Marvin has to face the alien clergy to save his family and Big Time Rush .

Characters

Marvin Forman is an alien from the planet Klooton . He escaped with his spaceship from his home planet to be safer there. He turned into a human to keep his real body a secret. His skills are to talk to animals and turn his fingers to ice and fire.

Teri Forman is Henry's older sister and Marvin's younger human sister. She is friends with Brianna.

Henry Forman is Teris and Marvin's younger brother. He does fun things with pop-pop.

Robert Bob Forman is the father of Teri and Henry and the human father of Marvin. He is the coach of the basketball team.

Elisabeth Liz Forman is the mother of Teri and Henry and the human mother of Marvin. She treats Marvin like her own children.

George Pop-Pop Forman is the grandfather of Teri and Henry and the human grandfather of Marvin. He is childish and mischievous like his grandson Henry.

Brianna is Teri's girlfriend. As a result of teleportation , she also knows Marvin's secret.

In January 2012, the broadcaster Nickelodeon announced the production of a series pilot with Lucas Cruikshank . On March 14, 2012, the station ordered the first season with a total of 26 episodes. The series was supposed to start in early 2013, but then the premiere was brought forward to November 24, 2012. The number of episodes was later reduced to 20 episodes.

On June 26, 2013, Cruikshank announced via Twitter that the series had been discontinued after a season.
