Katharina Spiering (* 1974 in East Berlin ) is a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Katharina Spiering was born in East Berlin and spent the first years of her life in Russia. She later grew up in Berlin, where she played at the Friedrichstadt-Palast and the Volksbühne as a child . After graduating from high school, she returned to Russia, where she worked with Down syndrome children and adolescents. From 1997 to 2001 she studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and, in addition to her training, received minor roles at the Deutsches Theater Berlin . She then had various theater engagements in Germany and Switzerland and played roles from Minna von Barnhelm at the Theater der Altmark Stendal to Pippi Longstocking at the Schwäbisch Hall open-air theater . In 2004 she received the Stendaler Theater Prize. Since 2002 Katharina Spiering has played in numerous film and television productions in Germany and Russia, such as 3 rooms / kitchen / bathroom or Tatort . In the children's crime series Die Pfefferkörner Spiering was seen from 2007 to 2009 as Rika Krogmann , the mother of Laurenz and Marie . She played Sandy Henske in the film adaptations of the Bavarian radio station Erntedank , Milchgeld , Seegrund, patron saint and heart and soul from the Kluftinger novel series .

Katharina Spiering also works as a dubbing artist and speaker in audio books and radio plays.
