Sienna Tiggy Guillory (born March 16, 1975 in Kettering , Northamptonshire ) is a British actress , film producer and former model .

life and career

Sienna Guillory is the daughter of Tina Guillory and on Cuba -born US - guitarist Isaac Guillory , who through his work with Donovan , Joan Baez , Elkie Brooks and Mick Jagger became known. Guillory has two sisters, Jace and Eleanor, and one brother, Jacob. The first years of her youth she lived in the London borough of Fulham . When she was eleven, the family moved to rural Norfolk . There she attended Gresham's School and began participating in school plays, but was later expelled from school for theft.

In 1997 Guillory went back to London and began a successful career as a model. She was featured in numerous magazines and also became the advertising face of the fashion manufacturer Hugo Boss for several years . She started working as an actress in 1993 and made her debut in the English television series Riders . In the years that followed, she continued to appear regularly in television productions. In 2001 she played a supporting role in a real movie for the first time in The Time Machine alongside Guy Pearce . In 2003 she had the leading role of the same name in the television production Helena von Troja , which was nominated for a Satellite Award . In 2004 she made her breakthrough with the horror film Resident Evil: Apocalypse - in which she played the role of Jill Valentine . A year later, she starred in the thriller Silence Becomes You with Alicia Silverstone . In 2006 she played the role of the elf warrior Arya Dröttningu in the fantasy film Eragon - The Legacy of the Dragon Riders - based on Christopher Paolini 's novel of the same name . However, the success of the film was limited. In 2008 she played in Cornelia Funke's Inkheart again in a fantasy film adaptation. In 2010 she returned to Resident Evil: Afterlife in her role as Jill Valentine , which she also played in the fifth part of Resident Evil: Retribution (2012).

In 1997 Guillory married her fellow British compatriot and fellow actor Nick Moran , but the two divorced in 2000. In the same year her father died of cancer . In 2002 she married the actor Enzo Cilenti , with whom she now lives in Los Angeles . In spring 2011 the couple had twin daughters.
