Schattenspiele is a television film from the crime series Tatort by ARD and ORF . The film was produced by Norddeutscher Rundfunk under the direction of Claudia Garde and broadcast for the first time on August 20, 2006 in the program Das Erste . It is the crime scene episode 637. For the detective chief inspector Casstorff ( Robert Atzorn ) it is the twelfth case in which he is investigating.

action

The Angolan deportation detainee Jonathan Waputo is able to escape from the ambulance after suspicion of a ruptured appendix , remove the weapon from the officer accompanying him and after a short escape collapses immediately in front of Inspector Holicek, who is watching a cup game of FC St. Pauli with a guard . After the autopsy, Patricia Funck ascertained severe aconite poisoning . Holicek believes he recognizes the main suspect of a hit and run, Winston Miller, 20 years ago, who took his own life with Holicek's service weapon. He is obsessed with this topic and is haunted again and again by the images of the past.

Cellmates Waputos, Milton and Sembana, accuse each other. Prison Director Dr. Henning Lambertz, of course, cannot imagine their guilt. He reports to Casstorff about sponsors who also give generous medication. The responsible head of the pharmaceutical company, Dr. Greuner, excludes any connection. However, the blood samples of all inmates show traces of aconitine and indicate drug tests. Then it turns out that the concentration at Waputo was higher and therefore lethal . The meticulous investigation of Waputo's calls to a public phone booth brings investigators to Dr. Lambertz. He has an explanation for everything.

Holicek finally has a lead: X-rays from Waputo / Miller and tells his former colleague Drallek, who speaks of a "problem" on his mobile phone before the practice. Casstorff sees a photo of Frau Lambertz on old press reports, who was at Miller's funeral service. At the same time, Holicek is getting closer to solving both cases: the aspiring public prosecutor Dr. Lambertz wanted to cover up the hit and run of his girlfriend Cornelia, who was drunk in the accident.
