Doreen Nixdorf

Doreen Nixdorf (born February 16, 1972 in Wolfen ) is a German actress .

Life

From 1993 to 1997 Doreen Nixdorf completed an artistic training at the Hanover University of Music, Theater and Media and made her debut in the year of her graduation at the Hanover State Theater , of which she was a member until 1999. Then she had an engagement at the Vienna Burgtheater , then went to the Hamburg Thalia Theater , where she was on stage until 2006. Between 2009 and 2014 Nixdorf was engaged at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden , since the season 2014/15 her place of work has been the Theater Bielefeld .

Well-known roles in Nixdorf's career have so far been Lisbeth Kohlhaas in Michael Kohlhaas based on the novel of the same name by Heinrich von Kleist , Shen Te and Shui Ta in Bertolt Brecht's Der gute Mensch von Sezuan , Countess Orsina in Emilia Galotti by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing , Olga in Anton Chekhov's Die three sisters and Elizabeth Proctor in Arthur Miller's witch hunt .

After her comrade debut, Doreen Nixdorf has been working for film and television since the early 2000s, mostly as a guest actress in well-known series. She also lends her voice to characters in computer games. She lives in Bielefeld.
