Oliver Warsitz (* 1967 ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

The trained goldsmith Oliver Warsitz completed the "Performing Arts" course from 1993 to 1997 at the Rostock University of Music and Theater . He made his stage debut in 1997 at the Westfälische Kammerspiele Paderborn , where he was continuously engaged until 2000, until he came to Hamburg in 2001 and was initially seen here at Kampnagel as Mephistopheles in Urfaust . Since then, he is still a regular on stage at the Ernst-German theater , so for the first time - also in 2001 - as a policeman in The visit of the Old Lady by Friedrich Dürrenmatt . He also played in The Judgment of Nuremberg , Death of a Salesman or The Captain of Köpenick , often directed by Wolf-Dietrich Sprenger . From 2011 to 2014 he repeatedly played the vampire hunter Geiermeier in The Little Vampire . In this role he had already appeared in 2007 at the Theater für Niedersachsen in Hanover. In addition to his work at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater, Warsitz has also repeatedly appeared at the Westfälische Kammerspiele. I.a. In 2008 he gave Lord Burleigh in Maria Stuart by Friedrich Schiller and was Mackie Messer in Bertolt Brecht's Threepenny Opera in 2013 . In Paderborn he was also on stage in the "Old Lady" , here the teacher was one of several of his roles in this production.

Oliver Warsitz has also been working regularly for television since 2001. He had his first role as a policeman in an episode of the children's crime series Die Pfefferkörner . Other roles in feature films and crime series followed, such as B. Stubbe - Case by case , SOKO Wismar and Die Rettungsflieger .

Oliver Warsitz also works as a voice actor. Among other things, he was the German voice of Sunil Munshi in Verdammnis and dubbed Derek Mears in Hatchet 3 and Uli Latukefu in the US web series Marco Polo .
