Derek Mears
Derek Mears (born April 29, 1972 in Bakersfield ) is an American stuntman and actor .
Career
He worked as a stuntman in films such as The Hills Have Eyes 2 , Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull or in two parts of Pirates of the Caribbean . From March to April 2012 he was one of the special guests at the Days of the Dead Horror Convention.
He gained worldwide fame through the impersonation of the serial killer Jason Voorhees in the remake of Friday the 13. In the movie Predators he played one of the "Predators". In 2012 he was a guest at the South by Southwest (SXSW) and presented his film, the action thriller The Aggression Scale .
