Freddy vs. Jason

Friday the 13th (Original title: Friday the 13 th ) is an American horror film from 2009 by Marcus Nispel . The film is the twelfth part of the Friday the 13th series and, with a few exceptions, started in cinemas worldwide on February 13, 2009, a Friday. It is also a spin-off of the 1980 film of the same name .

action

This twelfth part of the film series retells the story of the main character Jason Voorhees . It is not actually a continuation of the film series, but a reinterpretation of the film idea from 1980 and does not have the same content as the original version, although certain elements of the original are included; for example, the actual murderer of the 1980 film is killed at the beginning of the film as in the original.

At first you see five teenagers on a trip to Crystal Lake. They are looking for a hemp plantation, which is discovered shortly afterwards, but this does not help the finder anymore because he is killed by Jason. Shortly afterwards three of the others die too. Only Whitney survives since she is captured by Jason because of a certain resemblance to his late mother. This small series of murders turns out to be the prologue.

Clay is looking for his missing sister Whitney and arrives at the legendary Crystal Lake. Despite warnings from residents and the police, Clay goes on a search for clues and initially only finds dilapidated holiday huts. The college student Jenna, who spends a weekend at the lake with friends, supports him in his project. None of them suspects the presence of Jason Voorhees, who subsequently kills Jenna's friends. After Clay and Jenna have found and freed his sister in Jason's domicile, Jenna is killed on the run by Jason. Jason tries to kill the two siblings too. Whitney rams a machete into his chest and with the help of Clay throws Jason into the lake. In the last scene you see Jason emerging from the lake and trying to pull Whitney into the lake. The film stops. It remains unclear whether Clay and Whitney escaped or not.
