Isabela Merced (* 10. July 2001 in Cleveland , Ohio as Isabela Moner Yolanda ) is an American actress and singer .

Life

Isabela Moner started acting at the age of seven. When she was ten she first appeared on Broadway in the role of Evita . Various theater roles followed in Cleveland and New York. In 2014 she starred in the NBC series Growing Up Fisher , followed by roles in various Nickelodeon productions.

For the series 100 Things to High School , Moner won the Imagen Awards 2016 in the category Best Young Actress - Television , after being nominated the previous year.

Isabela Moner's first solo album, Stopping Time , was released on the US label Broadway Records in September 2015 .

In 2018, she starred opposite Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne in the film Suddenly Family by Sean Anders .

In October 2019, she announced her name change to Isabela Merced . In an interview she stated that she wanted to start a new chapter in her life in this way. Merced was her grandmother's last name.
