Sean Anders
Sean Anders (* 1969 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American film director and screenwriter .
life and career
Anders was born in Los Angeles . When he was a year old, his family moved to Madison and a few years later to DeForest , Wisconsin , where he grew up. After his high school Accounts at the DeForest High School in 1987, he formed a band. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Tempe , Arizona , where he worked briefly as a graphic and web designer .
With his friend John Morris , whom he met through his band activities, he wrote the script for the independent film Never Been Thawed , which Anders also directed. The film took two years to complete and was finally released in 2005. After this successful film debut, Morris and Anders moved to Los Angeles to get started in the film business. There they began working on the script for the film Too Sharp To Be True , which they could sell to DreamWorks when completed . After the film rights were sold, Morris and Anders no longer had any influence on the production of the film. Too Sharp to Be True was released in 2010 by DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures and is Anders 'and Morris' first major project as screenwriters.
In the meantime he worked with Morris on a new project and wrote the script for Joyride . Production company Summit Pictures asked Anders to direct, which he eventually did. Spritztour was released in 2008 and is Anders' first major project as a director after Never Been Thawed .
Other positions followed as a director and screenwriter in Hollywood blockbusters such as Wir sind die Millers (2013), Kill the Boss 2 (2014) or Daddy's Home - One Father Too Many (2015). Daddy's Home 2 followed in 2017 - more fathers, more problems! .
He is the brother of actress Andrea Anders .
