An Adam Hazzard (Original title: Splitting Adam ) is a US-American - Canadian television - comedy of the TV channel Nickelodeon from the year 2015 .

action

Teenage boy Adam Baker is stressed because he has to do various jobs besides school like dog sitting, mowing the lawn and delivering newspapers. He also works at the Splash N 'Crash theme park . Lori, with whom Adam is secretly in love, and Vance, the most popular lifeguard in the park, who constantly bullies Adam and makes him look bad in front of Lori, also work here.

When Adam's parents go on vacation, his uncle Mitch comes into the house to take care of him and his sister. Mitch calls himself Magic Mitch and appears as a magician, but quite unsuccessfully. Mitch bought an old tanning bed at a curiosity market, which he keeps in the Bakers' basement. One evening Adam gets into the supposed tanning bed. He is able to free himself, but when he wakes up the next morning, he finds a doppelganger of himself that the machine has cloned. From now on, he takes over some of Adam's tasks. Shortly thereafter, "Adam 2" clones itself, which, however, fails a little because "Winston", the clone of the clone, appears a bit behind. Adam creates two more clones, one that celebrates parties all the time and a sensitive likeness of himself. Above all, these should manage to draw Lori's attention to Adam. In order for this to work, Adam creates the clone Adam "Perfect", who succeeds in replacing Vance as a lifeguard.

With the Splash N 'Crash on the brink of bankruptcy, Lori and the park director put everything on a fundraising event to save the facility. This was supposed to be Vance's rock band, instead the Adams managed to give Magic Mitch a successful appearance and to collect enough donations for the park.

Meanwhile Adam and his friends learn that the clones have to be returned to the machine within a certain period of time and thus destroyed, as Adam himself would otherwise disintegrate. "Perfect" has now developed a life of its own and sabotaged the machine because he wants to be with Lori instead of the real Adam. Together with his friends, the other clones and Lori, Adam succeeds in restarting the machine and returning the clones in good time, and he can finally win Lori's heart for himself.
