Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 7,622 inhabitants were distributed over 2,951 households. The population density was 989.9 inh / km². 67.8% of the population identified themselves as whites , 12.0% as African American , 0.1% as Indians and 12.8% as Asian Americans . 3.1% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 4.1% to several ethnic groups. 18.0% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

The average household size was 2.86 people and the average family size was 3.26 people.
