Brandon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hillsborough County in the US state of Florida with 103,483 residents (as of 2010).

geography

Brandon is located roughly in the middle of southern Florida, about 3 miles from the Gulf of Mexico on Tampa Bay , about 12 miles east of Tampa .

climate

The climate is subtropical, mild and warm, with a light wind from the sea. Statistically, it rains an average of 45% of the days in the summer months, even if only for a short time. The highest temperatures are from May to October with up to 33 ° C, the coldest months from December to February with an average of only 12 ° C. Snowfall is almost unknown in the region.
