Dover is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hillsborough County in the US state of Florida with 3702 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Dover is about 15 km east of Tampa . The CDP is crossed by Florida State Road 574 .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 3,702 inhabitants were distributed among 1,112 households. The population density was 544.4 inh / km². 68.3% of the population identified themselves as whites, 2.2% as African American , 0.5% as Indians and 0.2% as Asian Americans . 24.0% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 4.6% to several ethnic groups. 67.9% of the population was Hispanic or Latino .
